EN SANTIAGO DE CHILE LOS HÚSARES TRÁGICOS SE TRASLADAN AL MAC A través de disciplinas como la pintura, la fotografía, la escultura, la instalación y el video, un grupo de artistas llegan al Museo de Arte Contemporáneo (MAC), de la Universidad de Chile, para resignificar el concepto de monumento. Húsares Trágicos alude al nombre de una novela publicada en 1965, por Jorge Inostroza. En varios tomos, el texto retrata la vida de dos de las figuras más icónicas en la historia fundacional de Chile: Manuel Rodríguez y José Miguel Carrera. La exposición se inaugural el 5 de julio en el MAC sede Parque Forestal.// HÚSARES TRÁGICOS MOVES TO THE MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART Through disciplines such as painting, photography, sculpture, installation and video, a group of artists come to the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC), of the University of Chile, to resignify the concept of a monument. Húsares Trágicos (Tragic Hussars) alludes to the name of a novel published in 1965, by Jorge Inostroza. In several volumes, the text portrays the life of two of the most iconic figures in the founding history of Chile: Manuel Rodríguez and José Miguel Carrera. The exhibition opens on July 5th at the MAC Forest Park headquarters.
